The Hisense French Door Fridge has won the 2018 Product of The Year award, in the Home Appliances category, in South Africa's largest independent consumer-voted survey. The annual awards gala, celebrating 10 years of rewarding innovation and excellence in the country, was held at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton on Thursday, 22 February.
Product of The Year is the world's largest consumer-voted awards ceremony for product innovation, and guides consumers towards the best products in their market, while also rewarding manufacturers for quality and innovation.
Winning the award for the second year running, Hisense fridges are proudly South African, manufactured in the Chinese multinational's local factory in Atlantis in the Western Cape.

The award-winning Hisense's French Door Fridge boasts Dual-Tech Cooling Technology that provides separated cooling, ensuring different compartments maintain their own ideal temperature. It has four temperature settings allowing for the drawer compartment to switch from fridge to freezer as needed and is equipped with an auto icemaker and flexible storage.
