Paul Evans, CEO of Redstor, will outline why the management of data is about to change forever when he addresses the Gartner Symposium ITxpo at the CCIB, in Barcelona, (4-8 November).

Evans will provide a fascinating insight into the industry's latest technology and spell out why downtime for businesses is a thing of the past.

He will also offer a glimpse into the future of AI-driven data management and demonstrate how businesses can obtain streamed, on-demand access to all of their data, wherever it is stored, from a single control centre.

Evans said: "We live in an on-demand world, and data has become an intrinsically valuable asset to organisations. In the event of a disaster, businesses need to be up and running in seconds, not days."

With a track record of service that includes more than 100 million restores a year and 40 000 clients globally, Redstor is redefining data management, providing borderless data visibility and streamed on-demand access to data, demolishing downtime, reducing costs and enabling better data visibility and improved compliance.

As co-founder of Redstor, Evans has seen the UK-headquartered company take massive strides in the last 20 years, expanding into North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australasia.

He will outline how organisations with sprawling, complex data estates are going to find it far easier to manage, control, search and gain insight from all their data.

Evans said: "Organisations need to understand better the data they hold in order to prioritise what is business-critical, maintain the correct level of protection and ensure compliance.

"There is a huge need to classify and get insight from data, but the proliferation of business data is making this challenge increasingly difficult. That is, until now."

Evans will explore the rapidly changing life cycle of data and show how businesses can capitalise on the latest advances in data management, including the adoption of a single solution to address backup and recovery, cloud archiving, disaster recovery, data migration, global search, ransomware recovery and business continuity.

To discover how the value of data will change going forward and to learn what data management will look like in an on-demand world, you can see Evans address delegates Wednesday, 7 November on the ITxpo Stage 3 at 12:10pm local time or schedule a meet with the team.
