Iot.nxt appoints experienced industry veteran as chief commercial officer

Iot.nxt appointed John Neville, previously Head of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at Nasdaq-listed ADTRAN, as Chief Commercial Officer to support the company's explosive growth as it addresses rapidly expanding IOT markets across the globe.

"John brings a wealth of experience, executive relationships and industry knowledge. I am confident that his track record of success in leading world-class sales organisations at Verizon, Terremark Worldwide, Ericsson and most recently at ADTRAN, will support and enhance our global expansion drive," says IoT.nxt CEO Nico Steyn.

According to Neville, IOT technology is currently the fastest growing sector in the ICT industry. "I am excited about joining the most innovative IOT company, currently on the fast-track to reach many regions and deliver solutions to a variety of industries. A recent announcement that telecom giant Vodacom has acquired a majority stake in IoT.nxt (media statement) provides IoT.nxt a quantum leap in access to customers on a global basis. It is the perfect time to join the company," Neville added.

Neville holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from SMU. He has also completed the Executive Program at University of Virginia Darden as well as the Advanced Telecommunications Management Program at Columbia University in NYC.

He will be based at IoT.nxt's office in Dallas, Texas.
