Intervid Africa a security solutions division of United Business Solutions has continued its expansion, with the successful purchase and integration of the Workforce Management (WFM) Solutions line of business from NGA Africa, a 50% owned Business Connexion Company.
The WFM division specialises in the installation and integration of the Synerion Workforce Management solutions, an international developed product which controls and monitors time and attendance for corporate, mining, manufacturing and government sectors requiring the management of their workforce attendance, scheduling, access control and CCTV. The acquisition expands Intervid's presence into the exciting time and attendance market throughout Sub Saharan Africa. The acquired unit currently has clients based in eight African countries and assists Southern Africa's leading corporates monitor the time and attendance of over 100 000 employees across a broad.

In addition to the existing time and attendance aspect, the acquisition from NGA Africa brings further expertise and experience as a system integrator and a long-standing relationship with Impro Technologies as a Platinum Plus partner and value added reseller. This has led to large base and some of South Africa's biggest access control and CCTV sites.
