The annual Huawei Eco Connect event will take place this year on 4 April 2019 at the Sandton Convention Centre, in Johannesburg, and will bring together business leaders, global industry visionaries, opinion leaders, partners and potential partners for an in-depth update on what Huawei Enterprise has to offer within the South African market in 2019.
The event will also see the announcement of the annual Huawei Partner Awards at the exclusive gala dinner ceremony.

Eco Connect 2019 will this year house spectacular exhibition stands from various Huawei partners, including Mustek, Pinnacle, Altron, EOH, BCX, Gijima, TorqueIT, Commvault, Trillcom, Xon, Datacentrix, Tech Mahindra, and Reflex. These partners will be available on the day for interactive discussions as well as product and solutions advice and guidance. The event will also see an incredible array of global speakers on variety of relevant and inspiring topics.
At MWC 2019 earlier this year, Huawei Enterprise introduced the latest AI applications in the fields of smart city, finance and retail, and our digital platform, which integrates cloud, IOT, and other emerging technologies to simplify digital transformation. We are therefore very pleased to confirm that all of the above mentioned products and solutions will also be on display at Eco Connect South Africa 2019, and that we will have experts from all over the globe and South Africa to showcase them.
Three products in particular will be:
* Huawei OceanStor Dorado all-flash storage, which is a high-end product for the enterprise business market, offering both reliability and high performance.
* Huawei Wi-Fi 6 AP, which is the industry's first application of 8x8 MU-MIMO, OFDMA, and 1024 QAM. It is also the industry's first wireless AP with a data transfer speed of up to 10Gbps.
* The industry's first data centre switch built for the AI era, the CloudEngine 16800. With an embedded AI chip, the CloudEngine 16800 uses the innovative iLossless algorithm to achieve an AI computing power of 100%, improving data storage IOPS by 30%.
