This exciting establishment has enabled only members of the institute to sit for their board exam in any country in the world. This is made possible through easy scheduling of the board exam which can be done online. Members will be able to view the nearest Pearson VUE centre to them, and choose which centre they prefer and when they are ready to take the board exam.

The board exams to be taken lead to the Information Technology Certified Professional (ITCP) designation. The ITCP is the entry-level qualification of ICITP, designed to create specialised practitioners in information technology whom are practically component and have business skills.

Passing the Information Technology Certified Professional (ITCP) board exam makes you eligible for the Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP) upon meeting the board exam and practical competency requirements.

The above must be achieved to lead members to the Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP). The CITP qualification is designed to create Information Technology Practitioners with high-level managerial skills (C-level Professionals) and the ability to structure and manage a large enterprise.

For exam preparation, members can choose to self-study and can purchase prescribed books at https://juta.co.za/ and study for the exams on their own. Members may also choose to invest in training through selecting only ICITP recognised Exam Preparatory Centre (EPC). Only ICITP recognised Exam Preparatory Centre (EPC) deliver the latest ICITP curriculum and authorised training relevant to the professional certification. Going through an authorised training provider ensures that you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to becoming a successful information technology practitioner.
