PaySpace, the leader in cloud-based Payroll and Human Capital Management software solutions, has launched its new employee self-service (ESS) portal.
This software upgrade provides companies and employees with a user-friendly experience that is accessible via desktops as well as smart or mobile devices. The new ESS portal features an updated interface and offers exciting new functionality such as the ability for users to select a language preference other than English. This is an important change as it will assist companies operating across Africa to overcome major language barriers.
"Our African footprint has grown exponentially from 18 countries in 2011 to 37 countries in 2014," says Bruce van Wyk, director of PaySpace. Our ESS portal now reflects Africa's multi-lingual employee base and offers them an easy-to-use tool that allows them to manage their own basic HR needs."
The upgraded ESS portal offers users the following new functionality:
* Access to the portal on any device including a laptop or desktop;
* Choice between English and Portuguese;
* Leave applications;
* Leave approvals;
* E-mail as well as download pdf versions of payslips for printing; and
* Capture out-of-office options for workflow approvals.
