Allens is London's leading supplier of catering equipment and furniture hire company. Bluegrass Digital has been a digital partner of Allens for over 10 years, and has recently launched its new e-commerce platform.
With the ongoing advances in technology and digital transformation in the industry, it was important that Allens remains ahead of the competition. The purpose of the project was not only to redesign its Web site and incorporate its new brand guidelines, but also create a seamless and integrated e-commerce experience for the customer.
To achieve this, the project required integration with its back-office systems via a new API created for the Web site. This has resulted in better sales automation, order processing and provides customers with access to the latest account, pricing, order information and the ability to make payments via the Web site.
The new Web site will support ongoing digital marketing initiatives, increase online ordering and other initiatives in the future.
