Egbert du Toit has joined AIGS, the local distributor of Progress Software and EasyAsk, as business development manager. Du Toit joins AIGS from Software AG, where he was regional sales manager responsible for the agriculture and manufacturing vertical industries.
Du Toit has been in the ICT sector for 14 years, gaining extensive experience with companies such as Dimension Data, Siebel and Software AG, and a brief period with Progress Software, as a solutions engineer focusing on integration and SOA governance solutions. He has spent the last few years in business development.

Du Toit has a B Sc in Computer Science and Personnel and Industrial Psychology, and an MBA.
