Malwarebytes recognised as a visionary in the Gartner magic quadrant for endpoint protection platforms

Malwarebytes is exhibiting at the ITWeb Security Summit.

Johannesburg, 18 May 2018

Malwarebytes, the leading advanced malware prevention and remediation solution, will be attending ITWeb Security Summit 2018 in Johannesburg between 21 and 23 May. Malwarebytes solutions are distributed in South Africa through ProData, a strategic value-added distributor. This follows the announcement that it has been ranked as a Visionary in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms.

ITWeb Security Summit 2018 will address information security in a purely business context, which will enable attendees to respond effectively and protect what matters most, your data, your revenue, and your staff.

"The threat landscape is rapidly evolving, so it's imperative that companies ensure they are deploying technologies that can keep pace with an increasingly sophisticated and wide variety of attacks originating from multiple threat actors," said Christopher Green, VP META from Malwarebytes.

"To do this, businesses need to ensure that they're investing strategically in their security software - they need solutions that go beyond the norm and are looking to visionaries to find new ways of protection. Our continual investment and commitment to developing our enterprise platform is one of the key reasons why Malwarebytes was recognised as a Visionary in Gartner's Magic Quadrant."

Malwarebytes develops the best malware remediation tools on the market and has made significant strides in the creation of cutting-edge protection and remediation technology for businesses.

Ransomware is an excellent example of Malwarebytes' ability to identify the most pressing threats and proactively develop solutions that address these challenges. Last year, Malwarebytes released an integrated Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware into its core stable of solutions. More than 30 million threats are detected or blocked every day, feeding into Malwarebytes' growing machine learning database.

Malwarebytes has exceeded its execution objectives through superior technology and machine learning development, high sustained sales and organisation growth, strong recurring revenue, and positive cash flow generation. Enterprises and mid-size businesses worldwide are increasingly realising the value of Malwarebytes for both their security and compliance programmes. For instance, during the past 12 months, Malwarebytes experienced a seven-fold increase in large enterprise customers.
