Nashua: way more than just copiers and printers

Popular copier and printer brand Nashua evolves to provide total workspace solutions.

Johannesburg, 30 Nov 2018

In the last few years, Nashua has embarked on a journey of transformation; a journey towards serving its customers better by providing solutions to its customers' growing business requirements.

Yes, it still excels at printers and copiers, but by listening and responding to customers' needs, Nashua has introduced new business solutions to serve the modern business landscape.

These solutions include business infrastructure, smart solutions such as interactive whiteboards, access control and surveillance, voice and data, professional services, commercial and specialised printing, content management services, connectivity infrastructure and hosted services. Receiving one bill from one provider has made the workspace work efficiently for the customers.

Mark Taylor, Nashua CEO, expands: "Our customers trust us with their printers, so it was the next logical step for them to trust us with their document management solutions, or their connectivity infrastructure, or their voice and data requirements. The DNA of our business hasn't changed, but our customers' needs have. So, we've transformed ourselves to serve their total workspace, technology and network environment requirements."

Nashua's strong footprint in southern Africa and its even stronger customer relationships have served the company well in its growth strategy. And this evolution is evident in the successful revenue growth reported by Nashua's holding company, Reunert Group.

Nashua embodies customer-centricity. The company has 750 qualified technicians who have been in the business for 15-plus years, and a sales force count of over 500 people who personally interact with their customers, enabling them to achieve successful business outcomes. This is evident in Nashua's customer service index of 9.2%, which is one of the best in the industry.

"In order to service our customers adequately, training and upskilling our staff has become an integral part of Nashua's transformation. This enables them to keep our customers at the core of everything we do. As a result, we offer more than just great workspace products and services; we offer them a better outcome for their business," said Taylor.
