NamITech Holdings Limited has become the latest company to join the Proudly South African ranks. The company announced today that it has been accepted as a member of the worthy campaign aimed at promoting South African companies, products and services.
In order to attain membership, NamITech had to meet the strict criteria set by the campaign. These include the fact that the company`s products or services must incur at least 50% of their production costs in SA and that the products and services offered by the company must be of a high quality.
As part of its commitment to such quality, NamITech`s card manufacturing facilities are ISO accredited and the company has been licensed by MasterCard and Visa for many years. Its facility in Linbro Park is certified according to the card institutions` security requirements and is audited by these organisations annually.
Furthermore, NamITech`s security operating and trust centre, from which all its managed digital security services are offered, is accredited by leading international security company, VeriSign.
The confirmation of membership follows closely on the announcement that NamITech has received an AA premium rating from EmpowerDEX, an independent economic empowerment rating and research agency.
