Atos selects Infor

Atos Origin, an international IT services provider, has selected Infor HCM Workforce Management, formerly named Workbrain, to enhance its outsourced payroll service, according to Business Wire.

The solution will enable Atos Origin to process timesheets and check payroll accuracy for its rail customers in real-time, facilitating better quality payroll information and improved service levels.

The solution replaces the legacy payroll systems of the UK rail companies which were outdated and could no longer meet business needs. The chosen solution provides a centralised platform to streamline payroll services.

Peterborough, Stamford implement McKesson

Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has selected McKesson Shared Services to support its HR and payroll functions, states E-Health Insider.

Using McKesson Shared Services means they have first-line support for all administration tasks associated with the day-to-day functions of HR and payroll using the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR), which McKesson provides under a national Department of Health contract.

Gerri Macdonald, HR and payroll lead at Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said, "As a trust we are very keen to embrace innovation and we wanted a service that can interface with ESR. Using one interface in McKesson we can reduce paper output and improve accuracy across the HR and payroll function."
