Keitumetsi Tsotetsi, cyber security risk assurance consultant at PwC, talked about the art of translating cyber to English at the ITWeb Security Summit 2018.
Tsotetsi said cyber security has been given the spotlight in the boardrooms as directors are accountable for protecting company information.
Her talk at ITWeb's SecuritySummit last week was about effectively communication cyber security requirements to the correct stakeholders - from board members to risk, legal, IT and data management teams.
"Cut out the acronyms, cut out the jargon, and speak directly about what the requirement is," said Tsotetsi.
