Saol.Com has launched a range of uniquely priced ADSL solutions. The accounts on offer are as follows:
* 6GB account at R299 per month
* 18GB account at R399 per month
* 30GB account at R499 per month
An unshaped account capped at 4GB is also available. This account, priced at R499 per month, is ideal for clients wishing to make use of online gaming services and P2P applications.
Aside from providing improved value for money to its existing clients, Saol.Com hopes to encourage high-volume dial-up users to make the switch to ADSL.
On average, dial-up users who spend more than an hour a day online could save money by upgrading to ADSL. As ADSL is a permanent connection, users do not pay for dial-up calls to their Internet service provider. This, combined with the recently announced drop in ADSL line rental charges by Telkom, means that ADSL is fast becoming a solid alternative to the standard dial-up connection. Aside from the pricing benefits to high-volume dial-up users, ADSL is the first mainstream solution that offers South Africans an affordable, permanent, high-speed Internet connection. ADSL is also an ideal medium for the use of voice over IP communications (VOIP), allowing users to save money on both national and international phone calls.

Saol.Com has opened several new branches in the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. The new offices, in Cape Town, Knysna and Richards Bay, will assist in the nationwide implementation of Saol.Com's various Internet and VOIP solutions.
