OKI South Africa launches two new wide-format machines with compact design for superior ease of use paired with printing solutions matching your applications and speed requirements. The new Teriostar multifunction printers are designed to deliver hyper-fast, high-resolution prints for busy design, engineering, architectural and mapping applications where deadlines are tight and time is money.

The LP-1040MF and LP-2060MF deliver the best productivity in value-class wide-format multifunction printer, with super-speeds of up to seven A1 size prints per minute and up to nine A1 size prints per minute. Scan speeds of 240mm per second and parallel processing prints one job while simultaneously processing another. Compact and easy to use, both multifunction printers combine fast scanning with high-performance LED printing.

High-resolution LED printing and scanning is made easy with a straightforward colour touch-screen panel, making the printers simple to use. All controls are managed by a clear 8.5-inch touch-screen panel, giving you rapid access to frequently used menus with the improvement of the user interface.

The display also offers an enhanced visibility of troubleshooting instruction messages for better ease of use. Exceptional print quality is assured with the new print data converter, which fixes typical problems such as speckles, slants or the typical errors seen with scan or file converter data.

Designed for maximum uptime and reliability, the Teriostar multifunction printers feature a user-replaceable process cartridge and long-life charge wire, reducing service calls and maximising uptime. Strongly built and reliable, high-capacity toner compartment, simple, easy-fill clean-hands toner system with large capacity waste toner bottle, Teriostar large-format printers are widely used for computer aided design (CAD) and manufacture (CAM) printing, and have a strong reputation in the AEC industry.

Aimed at improving productivity, the Teriostar series provides a range of business-oriented functions and features, and both come with a complete PC-based software suite which supports drag-and-drop file management, full file view capabilities, a sophisticated print queue, along with multiple printer support.

This compact design includes new security features such as identification smart card for print, copy and scan to prevent unauthorised use. This prevents the risk of leaving sensitive drawings uncollected, eliminates waste and controls print jobs.
