Lexmark descends on Saudi Arabia

Printing and imaging solutions provider Lexmark has revealed plans to introduce a range of 4-in-1 All-In-One (AIO) inkjet printers designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) keep printing costs down, reports TMCnet.

According to recent market research, reveals AME Info, the printer market in Saudi Arabia is set to grow this year, particularly for multifunction and colour devices.

Colour laser printer sales are expected to see an increase across 2011, with mono laser printers. Inkjet multifunction printers (MFPs) will also see an increase by end of 2011.

Meanwhile, Trade Arabia states that Mohammed Addarrat, GM of Lexmark International (Middle East), said these three new devices - the Interpret S409, Prospect Pro209 and Prevail Pro709 - are from Lexmark's Value Ink product range and can print, scan, copy and fax.

Addarrat notes that all the three printers were equipped with advanced wireless technology for long-range reach and a more reliable signal for fast file transfer rates, ensuring freedom and flexibility for the user.

“They are all compatible with Lexmark's 105XL high yield black ink cartridge, which produces 510 standard pages, estimated in accordance with ISO IEC24711. This helps to save the printing cost per page and become the world's lowest black ink cost," he added.
