Local ICT services provider, THINK iT Solutions, an EOH company, has announced the acquisition of IT Express, an IT networking company that supplies integrated IT services and infrastructure to the South African channel.
Similarly to THINK iT, IT Express is recognised for its expertise in systems integration within the small to medium-sized business (SME) space, says Dominic Oettl, CEO of THINK iT.
“Also like THINK iT, the company sells a range of hardware and software solutions and maintains several service level agreement (SLA) service customers across Gauteng and surrounds,” he says. “The IT Express team is young and motivated - another shared trait - and we believe this acquisition will allow both companies to realise better efficiencies whilst providing bigger benefits to our combined customer base.”
Philip Rabinowitz, owner of IT Express, concurs: “IT Express has garnered a reputation for forming strategic alliances with experts in various fields in order to provide its customers with a 'one-stop shop' approach to their IT solution requirements and we view this move as an extension of this drive.

Effective 1 January 2011, the THINK iT Solutions team will grow by five technical and three administrative personnel. THINK iT will also begin servicing IT Express customers from this date.
