Data protection and management company, Commvault, has appointed StorVault as a managed services provider (MSP) for its Metallic SaaS platform in SA.

Gerhard Fourie, channel lead at Commvault Africa, says that as StorVault’s has a long-standing relationship as a Commvault software MSP, it was a natural progression to appoint the company to the local Metallic MSP programme.

Metallic is part of Commvault's Intelligent Data Services Platform that enables companies to proactively simplify and manage the complexity of enterprise data.

The solution covers the full spectrum of data protection, with its main focus being the protection of Microsoft 365 environments that are hosted on the Microsoft cloud platform.

StorVault GM Rudi Jansen van Vuuren says his company has made significant investments in a front-end portal that enables its business partners to provision Commvault services easily and effectively.

In addition, he says StorVault has invested in cloud infrastructure and professional technical support capabilities as part of its commitment to Commvault offerings.
