Axiz increases its HP IPG offering

Multifunction printers a cost-effective purchase, streamlining IT investment.

Johannesburg, 28 Jul 2010

Leading IT infrastructure distributor Axiz, an authorised HP Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) distributor, will be adding the distribution of HP high-end multifunction printers to its portfolio.

Ravi Perumal, Axiz HP IPG product manager, says the timing is good as more companies look at ways to maximise IT investments. “Multifunctional printers provide organisations with a streamlined economical approach.”

Perumal says the relationship Axiz has had with HP IPG since 2008 has proven to be extremely successful. “We are very proud to be able to increase our offering of HP products by including multifunction printers into our portfolio, as this enables us to offer existing resellers new products as well as opportunities to grow our reseller base.”

Multifunction printers have increased in popularity, specifically within small and medium-sized businesses. Today's multifunction printers offer true value, with their cost-effectiveness and enhanced functionality (printing, scanning, faxing, copying and e-mailing). These devices are also able to support the move towards a paperless environment with their imaging capabilities.

“Unlike most consumer electronics, printers have a more sustained life cycle, making it vital to not only purchase a printer that meets your requirements, but to invest in a reputable brand such as HP, who has a research and development division producing cutting-edge technology,” concludes Perumal.
