INDUTEC Africa presents PVP Africa Conference

Johannesburg, 30 Apr 2019

INDUTEC Africa invites Lance Zikalala, MD at NCODED, to present a lecture under the topic: "Using an Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) software tool as a replacement to Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) within a valve manufacturing company" at its 11th edition of Pumps, Valves & Pipes (PVP) Africa Conference.

This conference will be held at the Gallagher Conference Centre from 11-13 June 2019.

The PVP Africa Conference is the largest and most comprehensive African trade show dedicated to the industries involved in the conveyance of liquids, gases and slurries.

It is largely tailored to assist businesses that are looking to expand into the African market by enabling them to generate new leads, meet new partners and also have knowledge on new projects and innovative technologies.

Since everyone is talking about industrialisation, where even our State President references the term on his State of the Nation Address, NCODED felt it also needed to add its voice by presenting the above lecture, which will also touch on the subject of how old technology is evolving around the manufacturing arena today.

Zikalala said: "This conference is the right place for us to talk about the successes gained by one of our clients who is a valve manufacturer, and also to network with local and international manufacturers within the valves and pumps sectors." He continued: "We believe that our experience will benefit most of the companies that are similar to many of our clients."

The PVP Conference will offer many features, particularly to people who will be visiting for the first time. There will also be some high-level business people, together with some government ministers. Some of the features will include:

* Workshops;
* Conference sessions; and
* A stakeholder forum.

The highlights of the conference will be the opportunity for the registered guests to interact with the Johannesburg Mayor, Hon Herman Mashaba; Gauteng Premier, Hon David Makhura; and also the Minister in the Department of Energy, Hon Jeff Radebe.

There is also some talk that there will be a panel discussion about the "integrated urban planning and building for resilience: a roadmap to achieve Agenda 2063 and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR)" by some of the mentioned government representatives.
