Altron Karabina wins prestigious Microsoft Data Analytics Award for 15th year in a row
The award underscores the company’s commitment to delivering digital innovation that matters.
Altron Karabina, a leading technology solutions provider across Africa and the Middle East, won the highly prized Data Analytics Award at the 2020 Microsoft Partner Awards event, held virtually. This was the 15 consecutive year that the company has landed the accolade, demonstrating Altron Karabina’s powerful ability to deliver digital transformation solutions that drive business growth and innovation across sectors. The company was also a finalist in another five key Microsoft Award categories: Dynamics Business Applications Services Partner (CE and PowerApps); Dynamic Finance and Operations; Modern Workplace; Azure Infrastructure and Business Applications Power Platform.
“This is a tremendous achievement for us, and the fact that we are the only company to have ever won Microsoft’s Data Analytics Award really illustrates the depth of our expertise and experience across the Microsoft Cloud environment,” said Grant van der Wal, MD, Altron Karabina. “We’d like to thank Microsoft for the ongoing and highly successful partnership, and for providing a technology platform that is truly a launchpad for continual innovation. Microsoft also held these awards virtually for the first time, and we congratulate them on hosting such an engaging and professional event.
These latest accolades – which span Microsoft’s extensive cloud offering across Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 – reflect the immense breadth of Altron Karabina’s expertise, and the team’s unique ability to grow and innovate alongside its key technology partners and customers.
Paul Morgan, Head: Data, Planning and Analytics at Altron Karabina, said: “Our customers look to us for help with leveraging their data assets. Because of the amazing skills of our technical team, our in-depth industry knowledge, and our close partnership with Microsoft, we can deliver data analytics solutions that really matter. Our focus is on making a significant difference to our customers with data. We really appreciate this award because it reiterates our commitment to helping organisations become data-driven and empowering them to succeed in a fast-changing world.”
Indeed, when looking at the rapid shifts that have taken place over the past several months – with companies accelerating their digital adoption to meet new customer requirements – finding the right technology partner has arguably never been so critical for business longevity.
“This is an important moment for us to also thank our customers, for their commitment to us and for providing us with the opportunities to do transformative work,” added Van der Wal. “Also, a huge thank you is extended to our dedicated team at Altron Karabina – you are all tireless in your commitment, and have demonstrated that you are truly industry leaders who are making a difference in each customer’s journey… and leaving a formidable footprint in the fast-growing African market.”
