ITR Technology expands digital footprint into Africa
Starting in Namibia and Mozambique, the company will service ManageEngine software while transferring skills to business partners and end-users.
ITR Technology, the sole distributor of ManageEngine software in SA, has announced its move into Namibia and Mozambique, headed up by the company’s recently appointed Christiaan PJ De Waal (business development manager for Africa). Strategies have been put in place to capture the Namibian and Mozambican IT infrastructure markets. This will bring additional support to the two countries' existing customer base, ensuring long-term customer retention and new business growth.
Africa is set to become a competitive force in the global arena through digital transformation. ITR Technology’s aim is to support this development on the continent by providing its customers and partners with solutions that drive systems efficiency, increase performance and reduce manpower overheads, while adding value to its end users, no matter how large or small an organisation or where it is located.
ITR Technology aims to increase the ManageEngine skills level on the continent through its certified ManageEngine training programme, based in Centurion. The company is also committed to transferring skills to its partners and end users in Namibia and Mozambique.
De Waal and Philip Slimowitz, the CEO of ITR Technology, recently met with Veiccoh Nghiwete, the High Commissioner of Namibia, regarding doing business in that country. “At the meeting we introduced ITR Technology and our intention to work with local partners in Namibia. The High Commissioner signalled his approval for us to do business in Namibia and develop skills in the market. We are excited about the journey ahead.” says De Waal.
