VMware receives highest product scores in two of three use cases in Gartner's Critical Capabilities for WAN Edge Infrastructure
VMware is the highest ranked vendor for both midsize enterprise/regional and large global WAN use cases.
VMware (NYSE: VMW), a leading innovator in enterprise software, today announced it has received the highest product scores for two of the three defined use cases in Gartner's Critical Capabilities for WAN Edge Infrastructure(1).
VMware was recently recognised as a leader in the inaugural Gartner Magic Quadrant for WAN Edge Infrastructure(2). That report, profiling 20 vendors, recognised VMware as a leader in both ability to execute and completeness of vision, and VMware's position was placed furthest for completeness of vision.
