New appointments at TPB

Johannesburg, 06 Aug 2004

The People Business (TPB) has announced two new appointments to support the company`s growth strategy.

Celeste Werksman has been appointed business development manager for the TPB group.

Nana Motau has been appointed as a senior recruitment consultant.

TPB, which offers human resources consulting, recruitment, people development and executive services, says it is restructuring and re-combining its portfolio of services "to cater to the needs of companies across vertical markets".

Werksman, previously with black economic empowerment (BEE) company ForgeAhead, has experience in business development and consulting, and an understanding of BEE issues. She will leverage working relationships within the IT, telecoms and banking industry in her new role at TPB.

"Offerings such as cultural transformation and diversity management will now be provided to companies in the vertical industries," says Werksman.

Motau`s experience includes six years of running her own recruitment concern and a focus on financial recruitment, obtained while working with Gobodo Grey.

"By expanding into senior and executive recruitment across the board, we aim to double the turnover from our recruitment arm over the next 12 months," says Motau.
