Dimension Data South Africa has been awarded SAB Limited`s Supplier of the Year Award in the non-production spend category for consistent high standards of delivery and service in the provision of outsourced services to the company.
The award is made by SAB in recognition of those companies which consistently exceed and outperform their service level agreements. Dimension Data provides SAB with its outsourced requirements for South Africa in the desktop and server environment, as well as technical support.
Grant Bodley, General Manger of Dimension Data`s outsourcing line of business, said SAB demands very high standards because of the governance and quality control standards it has to meet.
"When SAB first looked at the outsourcing route several years ago, it looked for someone that could operate in a multi-source environment and meet very specific requirements. We were able to demonstrate that we had real experience and processes, especially in the services and network fields."
Bodley thanked SAB for the award, saying it was an indication of the hard work the team at Dimension Data had put into the account.
"In all our accounts we strive to exceed our clients` expectations."
