Dell EMC has updated its 2019 partner programme, in a move it says aims to drive growth and profitability for partners, and is based on three principles: simplicity, predictability and profitability.

The initiative, which Dell EMC says is shaped by partner feedback, was introduced two years ago when Dell and EMC officially merged.

Changes include simplifying tier requirements, protecting partners' relationships and historic investments with customers, revamping financial processes, streamlining training requirements and lowering the number of people needed for an organisation to reach gold partner status.

All changes have been designed to achieve one of three things, says Dell EMC.

Firstly, making it easier for those in Dell EMC's partner community to grow their businesses. Next, improving the speed at which partners can deliver products and services. Finally, helping partners sell and monetise emerging technologies.

Anwar Dahab, senior vice-president, Channel EMEA, Dell EMC, says the company is dedicated to providing its partners with a world-class programme, and enabling them to grow their businesses and stay ahead of the market.

"The latest updates have been implemented based on our partners' feedback to ensure they feel supported and are prepared to tackle emerging technology challenges, which represent significant opportunities for profitability and growth now and in future," he adds.
