All three are disruptive in nature, but what do blockchain, Alice in Wonderland and The Matrix have in common.
What blockchain, Alice and The Matrix have in common
Most people have seen the movie 'The Matrix'. It is a disruptive movie where numerous symbolisms have been applied to explain what the matrix actually means.
In today's blog, I want to take a specific scene out of The Matrix, where Neo meets with Morpheus. Morpheus presents Neo with two options: the blue pill which symbolises Neo waking up and continues to live in the 'matrix', where he is stuck in the world of 'slavery' and control. The red pill represents the answers Neo is seeking and that is to see what the Matrix is for himself.
Here is a quick reminder:
Neo won't be able to learn what the matrix is without experiencing it for himself. He was looking for answers and the answers (Morpheus), in turn, were looking for him. As we seek, we shall find, and during this journey of seeking the answers, there were clues that appeared that led Neo to Morpheus.
One of them was the white rabbit, the white rabbit was a tattoo on a woman's shoulder, which led him to meet with Trinity and Trinity introduced Neo to Morpheus.
What about Alice?
Alice is a curious wonderer. During a walk with her soon to 'not really want to be' husband, she saw a white rabbit hopping along the garden. This really got her attention and she wondered off after this rabbit; this rabbit eventually leads her to the rabbit hole at an old tree.
Due to her curiosity, she leaped forward to see where the rabbit went and fell down the rabbit hole. Inside the rabbit hole, she entered a strange world of characters and creatures that symbolise parts of her life.
How deep does the rabbit hole go?
The rabbit hole symbolises many things. In this blog, it is an adventure of discovering The Matrix, as well as Neo discovering his true self and what he is capable of. The rabbit hole also symbolises a world of wonder, mystical creatures that represent a truth of an individual you might not have known or do know. The rabbit hole also symbolises a path we need to take to discover our true identity of who we really are.
We are all here for a reason, and that we need to discover for ourselves. We never know when that path will represent itself to us, but you will know that something spectacular is on the horizon when it has. When that opportunity arises, you need to stay the course as this will take you on a journey of self-discovery that is second to none. Will it scare you? Absolutely!
What does this have to do with the blockchain?
Well, everything. With blockchain technology, there are endless possibilities of what can be achieved. This disruptive technology addresses many current loopholes and corruption. Blockchain technology in nature is a very disruptive technology.

Blockchain is the control mechanism of each crypto-currency. No one can cheat the system as everyone will be watching. No single person or company owns the system, everyone can use it and help to run it; this is important as not one individual can take down the system.
In conclusion
The blockchain symbolises Morpheus, taking Neo (us) out of the The Matrix. Bitcoin or crypto-currency is the white rabbit leading us to discover the blockchain and see what the capabilities are of this phenomenal technology.
