SAP buys again

SAP has announced its intention to purchase Yasu Technologies, which creates business rules management software, reports News.com.

The deal is designed to boost SAP`s business process management (BPM) offerings and will be tucked into SAP NetWeaver, which channels the flow of data to software applications via SAP`s back-end middleware.

The Yasu announcement comes after SAP announced it will acquire Business Objects in a deal valued at more than $6.8 billion, its largest acquisition ever.

Metastorm, Ciber team up

Metastorm has announced that it has formed an alliance with Ciber to deliver enterprise BPM solutions, services and support to state and local government organisations in the US, reports eBizQ.

Ciber will support Metastorm as one element of its solutions portfolio to help government organisations better succeed with efficient process execution.

Ciber and Metastorm have collaborated on several projects for state and local government clients.

CorraTech, Intalio partner

CorraTech and Intalio have announced a new technology and system integration partnership. CorraTech will use Intalio`s BPM technology in its Opensuite open source application integration platform, according to PRWeb.

The platform will enable customers to easily and quickly configure business processes across open source and proprietary applications in Opensuite Core Services.

With the ability to leverage the Opensuite integration architecture and without having to write new code, customers will be able to bring solutions to market more quickly, improving the efficiency of the development process.
