Local customers to benefit from PineApp's growth

Johannesburg, 23 Nov 2009

PineApp (www.pineapp.com), represented locally by its southern African distributor, SeKure-IT, was recently named number 11 on the 2009 Deloitte Israel Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Israel.

To determine the fastest growing companies, Deloitte reviewed fiscal year revenue over five years (2004-2008), calculated the revenue growth percentage over five years, and compared the growth of technology companies. Making this list is quite an accomplishment for PineApp.

“Being one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Israel is an impressive accomplishment. We commend PineApp for making the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 with a phenomenal 835% growth rate over five years,” said Tal Chen, director in charge of the Deloitte Brightman Almagor Zohar Technology Fast 50 Program.

Hezi Erez, PineApp CEO: “We are deeply honoured to be chosen to be in the 11th place in this highly regarded ranking. PineApp is constantly striving to excel its products and match them with the changes in the markets, the latest of which is the transition into cloud computing. We hope to stay in this ranking next year and even be one of the top 10 growing companies.”

Comments Markus Kluwe of SeKure-IT: “We congratulate PineApp on this achievement and see it as a prime acknowledgment of PineApp's activities over the years. The launch of additional products in the recent past confirms PineApp as a supplier of an ever-growing array of class-leading e-mail security and Web security products, as well as archiving and encryption solutions. Adapting to an ever-changing marketplace has ensured this prestigious award for our supplier. In addition to our existing portfolio of PineApp solutions, southern African customers with small, medium or large networks, as well as resellers and dealers, will soon enjoy the benefits of some more cost-effective, high performance new products.

Further to the recent South Afircan introduction of PineApp's Archive-SeCure e-mail archiving solutions, imminent new releases for the South African market are the MASA (combined MailSeCure and Archiving appliance for small to mid-sized organisations), the Mail-SeCure 3000R (with built-in redundancy and load-balancing) and Mail-SeCure for VMware for customers requiring an e-mail security solution on a VMware platform. In addition, PineApp's Surf-SeCure Web filtering and Web surfing management appliance has been further expanded and improved to cater for all types and sizes of customer networks.
