Unveiling Hisense Mobile’s Infinity H30, H30 Lite, Laser TV and Interactive Digital screen for video conference facilities to South Africans.

Hisense launched a number of new products to the South African market, including two brand-new smartphones, its 4K 100-inch Laser TV, and an interactive screen for a video conference with interactive touch screen, boasting 4K UHD resolution for vivid presentations.

Hisense started in 1969 and focused mainly on televisions. The company acquired the know-how to make TVs through the technical training of three employees. This eventually resulted in the production of a grand total of 82 televisions by 1971.

From the start, rather than rushing into mass-production, the Hisense way was to create affordable, high-quality products that people could trust and rely on, under the guiding philosophy of people-orientated technology. Today, Hisense is a multibillion-dollar enterprise, with scores of brands and over 40 subsidiaries.

The company continues to invest in products designed to bring joy into people’s homes and lives. Hisense proudly sponsors sports and global events that uplift the soul such as the Olympic Games, football, and entertainment that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Liam Faurie, Head of Marketing and Product Planning for Hisense Mobile, said: “As we at  Hisense celebrate our 50th anniversary, we can think of no better time to introduce two brand-new Hisense smartphones to South Africa, as well as the Hisense Laser TV for an immersive TV watching experience.”

Smartphones

“The Hisense Infinity H30 has a crystal clear 6.5-inch water drop display and a screen-to-body ratio of 83.3% that gives users a cinematic experience for watching movies and other videos," added Faurie.

"The impressive 4 530 mAh (milliamp hour) battery with Artificial Intelligence (AI) power saving allows for longer battery life, meeting the daily requirements of busy users with more game time and more play time.”

The H30 Lite is not light on features. It boasts a 6.1-inch display, 3 000 mAh battery and a dual camera with AI scene adaptation technology, giving users the perfect shot every time.

Laser TV

Luna Nortje, Sales Director for Hisense Consumer Electronics, said: “The Hisense Laser TV is developed entirely by Hisense as part of the company’s quest to provide viewers with a cinematic experience in their own homes. With consumers increasingly demanding bigger and better screens, Hisense’s 4K 100-inch Laser TV offers dual-colour laser, a larger screen, cinema sound, and natural viewing.”

The screen also provides a far more natural and immersive TV watching experience, particularly because viewers only need to be seated four metres away from the screen, as opposed to nine metres, to watch a 100-inch LED TV. So, the limitations of your living room are no longer there.

“With the JBL sound system, comprising 14 independent speakers and a handmade wireless subwoofer, together with dbx-tv audio technology, the audio is elevated, making viewers feel like they’re sitting in a movie theatre,” Nortje added.

Hisense Interactive Digital Board

The HIDB (Hisense Interactive Digital Board) features an interactive touch screen for writing and erasing, and 4K UHD resolution for vivid presentations. It works with smooth, fast computing and responsive touch capabilities that promise to make video meetings an immersive multimedia experience.

It is a revolutionary creation that will replace the traditional projection whiteboard in the future.

“A great brand is rooted in a great vision.

A great vision is inspired by great love.”

This undertaking has helped grow Hisense’s LED TV and refrigeration market share by 25% and 14% respectively, and Hisense has become South Africa’s favourite TV by volume sold.
