Quickbooks integration: Balancing automated accounting with ROI

Johannesburg, 01 Jun 2018

Hot on the heels of a recent Xero integration, leading low code tool Linx has announced a new integration with Quickbooks. The new integration offers users a faster way to integrate and synchronise accounting data to build highly scalable back-end applications and processes.

Anthony Morris, head of marketing at Linx, explains how: "With the new Linx Quickbooks integration, business owners, IT pros and developers can use low code to easily design and automate repetitive, manual, and time-intensive processes, moving beyond the accounting of old, manual tasks and point-to-point solutions, to build smarter, more efficient automated solutions that are unique to their business."

Linx offers a sought-after solution for many SMEs that are transitioning their back-office and accounting work to cloud-based applications. The tool provides IT pros with unprecedented ease of use in its ability to integrate a variety of standalone data silos and automate the data that is dispersed across multiple applications, building repeatable processes, keeping systems and processes up to date with the latest customer and product information.

With the Linx Quickbooks plugin, users can:

* Sync Quickbooks data such as accounts, invoices, customers to and from your database, CRM, marketing and e-commerce platforms.
* Sync Quickbooks data with third-party APIs.
* Easily build back-end processes and workflows using the Quickbooks API.
* Interact with live Quickbooks data: Transform, edit or query data using common programming functions, read, write and update customers, transactions, invoices, sales receipts and more.
* Use triggers to automate your accounting processes to save time and eliminate repetitive, high-volume, and error-prone processes.

Launched in 2015, the current Linx platform has made its mark as a low code tool for developing and automating IT processes far faster than traditional development environments.

"We believe this integration with Quickbooks will make it far easier for people to manage the repetitive nature of the back-end of their business and become a major breakthrough for those businesses looking to implement automated solutions at speed," Morris adds. "The Linx plugin architecture reduces the hassles associated with developing and maintaining code. For developers, it increases the speed of development without sacrificing power, and for business, it means better ROI as a result of automation."

This marks Linx's second integration with globally recognised accounting software, continuing its successful release of the Xero plugin in June 2018.
