UMT Consulting SA, a local project, programme and project portfolio management (PPPM) solutions provider, has announced that it has joined forces with TPG The Project Group (GmbH) in Germany, a provider of enterprise project management (EPM) solutions and services, and has been re-branded as TPG Africa.
The company's CEO, Pieter Meyer, says the deal is the culmination of close co-operation over several years between UMT Consulting SA and TPG Germany.
"Working together, the two companies boast numerous joint implementations and have offered integrated solutions to a large number of top South African organisations."
He says TPG The Project Group is a leading global provider of products and services related to the Microsoft EPM solution and is the world leader in integration between Microsoft EPM and SAP.
"Now that the acquisition is concluded, the co-operation has become even more comprehensive, covering not only the SAP integration products, but also other TPG products, consulting, training and product development."
