Even Flow Distribution celebrates its tenth year in the game

Even Flow Distribution is celebrating a decade of delivering innovative, next-generation telephony and networking hardware to the South African IT and Telecommunications channels. The milestone will be celebrated at the upcoming Even Flow Distribution Product Roadshow which takes place in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg in September.

Even Flow Distribution was founded in 2005, with its humble beginnings being in the supply of the first Skype handsets to the IT channel following the deregulation of Voice over IP in South Africa in the same year. As the technology and associated products became more widely accepted, so Even Flow Distribution grew, adding complimentary product lines and introducing the new technology to a wider base of retailers, system integrators, ISP's and Telco's.

Over the years Even Flow Distribution grew to being the leading South African distributor of telephony products, focused on open-standards non-proprietary solutions which included SIP phones, IP Gateways, IP PBX and associated networking hardware. Even Flow Distribution represents over 15 leading global brands and vendors in this sector.

"As interesting as it is to look back over the last ten years, what is most exciting is our plans for the future," says Adrian Bush, MD of Even Flow Distribution. "The upcoming Even Flow Distribution Product Roadshow in September will give our customers the opportunity to see the direction we are going in various converged IP products."

Earlier in the year Even Flow Distribution launched its new Web site showcasing the move into the three strategic product categories of voice, video and data. The voice products, where traditionally Even Flow Distribution has been particularly dominant, will now be further complimented by new product portfolios in the video and data categories.

The first brands in these new categories have already been announced with the launch of the Yealink Video Conferencing solution falling into the video category, and the new wireless backhaul solutions from Mimosa complimenting existing products in the data division. The countrywide Even Flow Distribution Product roadshow taking place in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban at the end of September will give Even Flow Distribution resellers the opportunity to see all these new product lines in one space.

"The interactive event will feature product demonstrations, and great networking opportunities as well as serving as a special tribute to clients for their support over the last ten years... of course there will also be a complimentary celebratory beverage or two to see in Even Flow Distribution's decade in business," says Bush.
