Large global petrochemical, solvents company in SA modernises identity and access governance with Omada
Omada, recognised by Gartner as a market-leading provider of solutions for identity and access governance, and local partner Integralis IT Consultancy, have been reselected to extend and modernise the identity and access management solution for a global, multinational petrochemical and solvents company in South Africa.
The South African-based petrochemical firm first implemented the Omada Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution over 10 years ago. Following strong growth across the globe, the company now reaffirms its commitment and trust in Omada, and its local partner, Integralis IT Consultancy, by upgrading to the latest version of the Omada Identity Suite and extending integration into more on-premises and cloud services.
Increased governance, compliance and administration requirements via the upgraded Omada platform drove the need as the European GDPR legislation puts pressure on companies to take responsibility for protecting identity and personal information, among others.
The company manages the entire identity life cycle of its 35 000+ users, manages the access processes across 20 000 resources, and performs regular recertification of over 1.5 million assignments.
