Centurion, 05 Sep 2017

Obscure Technologies today announced they have signed a distribution agreement with Imperva to deliver the Imperva portfolio of leading data and application security solutions that protect business-critical information in the cloud and on-premises.

The agreement with Obscure offers Imperva the possibility to scale sales and enablement capabilities through the channel to address the growing demand for advanced cyber security solutions in South Africa. Obscure will collaborate with Imperva in Johannesburg and provide pre- and post-sales services and support, and training and marketing programmes for Imperva solutions, which include the Imperva Camouflage, CounterBreach, Incapsula and SecureSphere product lines, as part of its value-added services offering.

Justin Lee, Managing Director at Obscure Technologies, said: "The cyber security battlefield is always changing. The recent wave of data breaches has caused major financial and reputational damage to enterprises and governments; data are assets of any organisation. Obscure Technologies specialises in brokering the best security solutions to market, enabling organisations to protect their intellectual property. We are excited to add Imperva to our security portfolio with their unique security offerings."

"Obscure Technologies is well known for its industry expertise and the high-level of service they offer.
