Oakwell earns Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status

Johannesburg, 18 Jul 2002

Oakwell, the software solutions house, has announced its recognition as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Collaborative Solutions. This makes Oakwell one of only four companies in SA to have achieved this status. It caps a period of remarkable growth and achievement since the establishment of the company in February 2000.

"Oakwell`s advanced certification, case studies and real-world customer references are evidence of their commitment to excellence and reflect the Microsoft Certified Gold Partner Programme philosophy," says Gail Moffitt, Partner Manager for Microsoft South Africa.

Meeting Microsoft Certified Gold Partner criteria

In just over two years, Oakwell has grown from a two-man show to a company of 20 staff members. Fifteen are Microsoft Certified Professionals and seven have either MCSD or MCDBA qualifications.

With Oakwell`s high calibre of skills, together with its project approach based on the Microsoft Solutions Framework, and its leverage of Microsoft technologies, the company has built up an enviable delivery track record over a short period. Its clients include Sasol, Legalwise, Alpha Cement, De Beers, Safcor and Anglogold.

"As an organisation that focuses on helping clients realise their potential through advanced technology solutions, our Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status proves that we can walk the talk," says Oakwell MD Roy Hobson. "Our solutions are practical, highly functional, and are always based on a value proposition for our clients."
