Pink Elephant first to launch Praxis in SA

Johannesburg, 13 Feb 2018

Pink Elephant launched the new Praxis framework to its Education portfolio during a Breakfast Forum on 9 February 2018. Known as a world leaders in transforming IT services, Pink Elephant is the first launch partner to APMG on Praxis in South Africa.

Even though project management methods, standards and frameworks have evolved immensely since inception, the focus of projects, programmes and portfolios used to be approached in isolation. With integration being one of the hottest topics in the service management and project management industries, Praxis comes at exactly the right time.

The Praxis framework is the first framework to integrate projects, programmes and portfolios (P3) in a single guide. While Praxis may seem overly complex at first sight, it can be an organisational change transformer regarding ROI on projects by providing insight and overview of programmes and portfolios.

This integrated approach encompasses knowledge, method, competency, capability and maturity into a single and tailorable framework.

Praxis is an open source, community-driven body of knowledge. Access to the Praxis framework is free and offers a wealth of resources, including templates, articles, capability maturity assessment tool and P3 community contributors. For more information, visit https://www.praxisframework.org.

Prince II practitioners and MSPs can update their respective qualifications to Praxis through a three-day bridging course and practitioners exam.

Both panel experts and forum attendees alike exclaimed their interest in this integrated framework and the practical implementation thereof within their organisations.
