Cisco announced as event sponsor of the ITWeb Security Summit 2018

ITWeb has announced that network hardware giant Cisco, has come on board as event sponsor of the ITWeb Security Summit 2018.

This premier event, which will be held from 21 to 25 May at Vodacom World in Midrand, centres around meeting the cyber security challenge in an evolving threat landscape. It will highlight the latest trends, and developments, around regulation, electronic data protection, cyber security, fraud and privacy.

The summit features an impressive line-up of top local and international security professionals, including Mikko Hypponen, April C Wright, Jason Street and Eleanor Weaver. Over five days, there will be more than 70 speakers, seven tracks, three half-day workshops, five training courses and more.

As event sponsor of the summit, Cisco will use this platform to share its insights and knowledge to help CISOs and other information security practitioners to evaluate the security tools and solutions available to them, and to properly assess their organisation's security posture.
