Check Point NGX training offered in SA

In support of the overwhelming demand for local NGX training, Check Point and iSecure have launched their new series of certification courses in Johannesburg, South Africa.

"NGX was launched at the beginning of May and was so well received that Check Point registered over 1 500 NGX sales within 10 days after the official product launch," explained Niall Moynihan of Check Point.

"Part of this success is attributable to the impressive new list of features, borne of customer enhancement requests and Check Point's visionary market leadership."

iSecure's Principle Security Instructor, Matthew Odendaal, comments on the release of the new platform and the associated courses: "I'm convinced that any security specialist who has seen Check Point NGX will agree this version has new features and enhancements that completely outclass any competitive firewall. To add to the heightened value proposition offered by NGX, Check Point's re-worked series of certification courses takes hands-on practical training to a different level.

"The first NGX course series was fully booked within the first few days of the availability announcement on iSecure's Web site," said Odendaal. "To cater for this demand, we have doubled our routine schedule by adding courses throughout September, October and November. We have also included the three-day Check Point NGX Accelerated CCSE course which is specifically structured for existing NG CCSE specialists who need to migrate their corporate firewalls to NGX.
