Mercury Interactive, Jacada team to provide industry`s first performance testing solution for Jacada products

Customised load testing tool provides joint customers with superior, scalable Web solutions

Mercury Interactive Corporation, the leading provider of enterprise testing and application performance management solutions, and Jacada Ltd, the leading provider of enterprise user interface and legacy extension solutions, has introduced the industry`s first load testing solution specifically designed for Jacada environments.

The companies have worked together to develop a customized version of LoadRunner, the industry-standard load testing tool from Mercury Interactive, which allows Jacada customers to verify that their business-critical deployments scale as expected and will perform optimally in a production environment.

Customers using Jacada`s Interface Server, such as SaskTel International (SI) (www.sasktel-international.com) will benefit from the integrated solution.

"Without this solution, verification and validation of infrastructure configuration under load was termed `impossible`," said Stephen Burkholder, project manager on SI`s software performance testing team. "With the Jacada and Mercury Interactive load testing technology now available, SI is confident of right-sizing production deployments of all our mission-critical systems, including Jacada`s Interface Server."

LoadRunner supports the load testing of the Jacada Interface Server for HTML, Java and XML clients, allowing users to verify application performance across all client interfaces.

LoadRunner for Jacada is available now and starts at $44,000 (US) for a license of 50 virtual users.
