Fujitsu DCO, IUS leadership or vision cited by Gartner in Magic Quadrants covering three global regions for second year

Munich, 18 Nov 2014

Fujitsu has again been recognised by Gartner as a leader in data centre outsourcing (DCO) and infrastructure utility services (IUS), this time in its newly published Magic Quadrant report for Asia Pacific.1

In July 2014, Gartner also named Fujitsu as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for End-User Outsourcing Services, Europe,2 and a visionary for data centre outsourcing and infrastructure utility services, North America.3 Organisations worldwide trust in Fujitsu's capability to deliver these services globally, helping them to transform their data centres to better meet their business demands.

Gartner evaluates providers of data centre outsourcing and infrastructure utility services, which are often enabled by remote infrastructure management services, and increasingly include cloud computing components. In its evaluation, Gartner includes cloud-based infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings that are part of infrastructure utility services and data centre managed services.

As cloud increasingly becomes a standard part of IT delivery, organisations want to identify new ways to deploy this capability to grow their business, leveraging the key technologies of big data, mobility and social, underpinned by cloud as the delivery platform. Fujitsu has found that its clients are looking for a trusted partner to help them achieve this goal, and to address the emerging need to manage a hybrid IT environment consistently and cost-effectively.
