Picking a scanner:
Having bar codes won’t do a business much good if you don’t have a scanner to get the information from the bar code. There are a few different options when it comes to buying a bar code scanner.
If you are looking for mobility and flexibility, you can get a wireless scanner. These scanners require batteries and you will need to ensure you always have backup batteries ready. These scanners are perfect for real-time inventory management and you won’t be restricted by a power cord.
