Connected Women at Cisco Connect SSA 2019.
What's most important to you in your career journey as a woman in tech? How will you create a space for yourself in the thriving technology sector? To find out, register now for Cisco Connect Sub-Saharan Africa and be a part of the break-away session 'Women of Impact 2019'.
Cisco's commitment to empowering women is the driving force behind its Connected Women group, one of the themes being rolled out at Cisco Connect Sub-Saharan Africa, being held at Sun City in South Africa from 19 to 21 May 2019.
Connected Women, in collaboration with In2IT
Since 2011, we've been coming together with a shared goal: to encourage and develop professional women. Now in its seventh year, Women of Impact has grown into one of our most popular events, created by and for Cisco.
One of the Women of Impact is Soso Motloung. With the title of chief solutions engineer, Motloung heads up Cisco's networking academy in South Africa, focusing on building a community of instructors who will, in turn, help train the next generation of aspirant technology workers.
During the Connected Women session at Cisco Connect SSA 2019, she will talk about her journey and the challenges of being a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry
For someone in her early 30s, her achievement is impressive in its own right. But when one discovers her background, it is nothing short of astonishing.
Attendees who are registered for Cisco Connect SSA 2019 are invited to participate in this breakaway session, which will take the form of a relaxed cocktail function with a panel discussion, on Sunday, 19 May. The session is being sponsored by In2IT.
