Air Products South Africa, a subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals (APCI) and leader in the local onsite, pipeline bulk, cylinder, specialty gas and chemicals supply markets, has signed an agreement with Tracer Mobile Workforce (MW), the latter supplying mobile workflow solutions on the Tracer Cloud/Mobility Platform.
Following an eight-month pilot period, Air Products was impressed by Tracer MW's ability to quickly design and customise secure mobile solutions across multiple devices and operating systems. Air Products subsequently selected Tracer MW's workflow solutions for its nationwide mobility strategy.
Tracer MW had already assisted Air Products to customise its sales engineer productivity and mobile applications.
Lourens Botha, Operational Director of Tracer MW, explains the reason for its success: "Tracer MW's ability to understand the complexity of the Air Products environment and management of extended product lists with multiple variations is reflected in enhanced business intelligence (BI) analysis."
"Using Tracer MW's workforce solutions, we have an immediate overview of the business. We are now proactively aware of our customer needs, and our service excellence will enable us to stay ahead of our competition," comments Arthi Govender, Market Research and Strategy Manager at Air Products.
"Mobile workflow solutions can transform our business," adds Josua le Roux, General Manager: Central Support at Air Products.
"Our commitment to customer service excellence, continuous improvement and innovation has always been a priority and a key strategic differentiator for us. Through our mobile strategy we will become even more proactive and responsive to our customers' needs. We plan to roll-out the Tracer MW solution to all our divisions this year. We are very excited to partner with Tracer MW on this mobile journey," Le Roux concludes.
