The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Practice of Mint showcased its value offering to customers alongside its technology partner, Qorus Software, at the recent Share Conference, held at the Hyatt Rosebank.

The Share Conference is a unique SharePoint conference as it uses industry input to create the agenda. Mint has been part of it for three years running and sees the value of participating year in and year out.

Mint, a South African Microsoft partner and SharePoint authority, is a reseller of Qorus Software, a global provider of document automation solutions for Microsoft SharePoint, and they jointly exhibited their product stack at the Share Conference this year.

The conference boasted an impressive line-up of local and international industry thought-leaders, who shared insight into governance, user adoption, cloud strategy and more.

Mint ECM Director Francois Pienaar presented a case study on how SharePoint search indexed more than 30 million artefacts at one of its clients. The technical piece of the presentation was handled by one of Mint's experts, Andrew Thornton-Smith.

Value and people

"Our value proposition to the client goes further than just solution execution. Our vibrant team of specialists thrive in our environment as they are given freedom to grow and express themselves," adds Pienaar.

"With the amount of information expanding on a daily basis, we need individuals that want to research and grow to ensure we, as Mint, stay on the forefront of innovation. By giving our team this freedom, our clients get the advantage of working with consultants that are passionate and up to date with market trends," concludes Pienaar.

Mint has put down a serious marker for itself in FY16. "We intend to complete about 30% of our revenue via Office365 sales and annuity income. As bandwidth improves and companies get more comfortable around security, cloud and collaboration is set to explode in the coming few years," mentions Pienaar.

Mint recently participated in the Cloud and Hosting conference, which closely followed the very successful Platinum sponsorship of Microsoft's flagship CRM conference - MS Reimagine '15.

The Share Conference was held at the Hyatt Regency in Rosebank from 22 to 23 June 2015.
