Acknowledges hard work in region.

Johannesburg, 08 Sep 2020

Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has been presented with Lenovo Africa’s PCG SADC Distributor of the Year award, a noteworthy achievement that speaks volumes of the tremendous strides the distributor has made in the region since its appointment two years ago.

Announced at Lenovo Southern Africa Channel Awards 2020, presented virtually to SA and SADC partners, the award comes at a time when business in the region is faced with unprecedented challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our Lenovo teams – across the various SADC countries we operate in – have shown that hard work delivers noticed results. Thank you to Lenovo Africa for the acknowledgment, and importantly, your ongoing support, which has enabled our teams to solidify existing relationships and build new ones in particularly trying times,” says Jenny Rex, sales director at DCC.

Adds Steven Opperman, Lenovo business development manager at DCC: “The PCG SADC Distributor of the Year award is such a wonderful recognition; thank you to Lenovo Africa and congratulations on a professional virtual event.

“Distribution into the SADC market is certainly not easy as each country conducts business differently. However, by adapting to these varied environments, identifying the challenges and seeking opportunities, we have been able to make some good inroads. Also, Lenovo’s technologies consistently enable our teams to offer industry leading solutions that strengthen our channel value proposition,” he concludes.

The Lenovo Southern Africa Channel Awards celebrates the company’s business and distribution partners across numerous categories.
