Corr-Serve and ExtraHop have entered into a distribution agreement.

US-based enterprise technology company ExtraHop has sealed a distribution agreement deal with local distributor and reseller Corr-Serve.

According to the companies, the deal will enable the general availability of ExtraHops' newest product, ExtraHop Reveal(x), in the Middle East and Africa. Corr-Serve will be responsible for the distribution of the product in SA.

Jesse Rothstein, chief technology officer and co-founder of ExtraHop, explains that the new network security analytics product collects real-time wire data analytics and machine learning data to analyse all network interactions for abnormal behaviour.

"Attack surfaces are expanding and the sophistication of attackers is increasing. There simply aren't enough talented security professionals to keep up. With a three-in-one workflow optimised for discovery, correlation and investigation, Reveal(x) focuses the security analyst's attention on the most important risks and streamlines response to limit exposure."

ExtraHop provides analytics for security and performance management through real-time IT analytics. While a relatively new entrant in the IT operations category, Corr-Serve is a 100% black female owned firm that is a level one contributor to the B-BBEE codes of practice.

Corr-Serve is a sister company to AppCentrix, which provides managed services in real-time analytics and uses ExtraHop as a platform.

Owen Cole, vice-president of sales for EMEA at ExtraHop, says this formed a solid foundation for the partnership. "We have a steadfast partner in Corr-Serve, having worked with the core management team of AppCentrix for many years. Working directly will now mean the partnership will strengthen as we expand our reach. Strategic partnerships with innovative companies like Corr-Serve are key to expanding our presence in the region."

Graeme Allcock, CEO of Corr-Serve, highlights that there is growing demand in the region for solutions that uncover all possible opportunities and threats. "As the demand for IT analytics grows, systems integrators are searching for solutions that reveal threats across the entire IT landscape.

"Our quest is to provide the most advanced, intelligent products to provide real-time visibility of the network for business, security and IT. The introduction of Reveal(x) to the local market will give real-time visibility.

"Joining forces with ExtraHop means we have a leading solution to offer our customers full visibility of their own network, not just for security, but for real-time analytics offering insightful business intelligence they previously were not able to see."
