Cornastone, a robotic process automation (RPA) services leader in South Africa, had the recent honour of being named a Gold Partner of UiPath, the leading RPA software company.

UiPath is the fastest growing enterprise software company in history and leader in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Robotic Process Automation. As an established digital transformation enabler in South Africa, Cornastone has been a formal partner with UiPath since 2018. Furthermore, in collaboration with UiPath, Cornastone is enabling large organisations realise quick ROI and cost reductions through the introduction, development and management of a digital workforce.

UiPath is leading the “Automation First” era – championing one robot for every person, delivering free and open training and collaboration and enabling robots to learn new skills through AI and machine learning. Led by a commitment to bring digital era skills to more than a million people, the company’s enterprise RPA platform has already automated millions of repetitive, mind-numbing tasks for business and government organisations all over the world, improving productivity, customer experience and employee job satisfaction.

To be considered a Gold Partner, UiPath has several distinct requirements a partner must meet before they can even be considered for Gold Status. The partner must have an RPA Practice Business Plan that includes: business consulting, professional services, developer strategy, and execution plans. They must also have internal RPA implementation/delivery documentation and an internal RPA training programme for their employees. Cornastone has both a testing/development environment and a developer team, which, too, are required to become UiPath Gold Partners.

What does this mean for organisations looking to delve into RPA? They are able to approach Cornastone with full confidence in:

Automating real-life projects from prototype cases to enterprise-grade successes;

Implementing RPA best practices, automation principles and quality assurance;

Delivering the ultimate learning experience with coaching or advisory workshops; and

Certified UiPath professionals to fulfil any of the key roles in an RPA Centre of Excellence.

The certifications include trained UiPath business analysts, advanced developers, infrastructure engineers, solution architects, sales and implementation specialists.

“We are excited to be playing our role in the fourth industrial revolution,” says Vishal Phlad, CTO at Cornastone. “The team have worked intensively to gain this quality label, which is particularly important for our current and future customers in their journey towards digital transformation.”

Jan Ursi, VP of Partnerships EMEA at UiPath, said: “We are happy to strengthen our regional partner ecosystem and welcome Cornastone as the first gold partner in South Africa. We look forward to driving further RPA adoption in support of local businesses, public sector organisations and their staff, by delivering the extraordinary benefits of a robot helping every person.”
