Keen to offer a more cohesive package, NBConsult has given its managed services offering a fresh new feel and a new name, NBConnect.
"When people think of NBConsult, they typically think of a high-end IT consultancy," says Pierre Devereux, NBConnect operations manager. "The industry knows us as the guys who help clients migrate huge Exchange environments, but what they don't know is that we're also equipped to help businesses manage their IT environment."
But, what exactly does this mean?
"In a nutshell, the NBConnect managed services offering takes care of your IT," says Devereux. NBConnect is geared to handle everything from anti-virus, scripting and patching to alerts and monitoring, backups and software roll-outs. "If you run a printing company, for example, you don't have the time or expertise to hassle with your desktops. You want to focus on printing. NBConnect will connect to your business. We'll connect all your devices. And we'll manage everything so you can spend your time doing what you do best."
In partnership with Solarwinds, a global distributor of IT management services, the idea is to walk into a business with a box, connect it to the network and walk out. "From there, we can remotely connect to your environment and manage your entire IT ecosystem with ease."
"For our existing managed services clients, nothing is changing," Devereux asserts. "Except for the fact that we now have the backing and the support of the NBConsult Group.
"What some of our clients may not have realised is that they had the entire Microsoft consulting team sitting one desk away from where their managed service provider is seated. Which essentially means that they have access to some of the best minds in the business," he adds.
And assuming one of the NBConnect clients needed some consulting help, they'll be able to work with NBConsult's team of experts at a discounted rate. These preferential rates also carry across all the different entities that make up the NBConsult Group, Devereux continues.
"It doesn't matter if you're an accountant or a doctor, we'll help you make your businesses more effective because we'll take care of your IT. You don't have to worry about any of that IT stuff, we'll make sure that the IT equipment you use is always working as it should. You just need to worry about being the best doctor or accountant you can be and we'll handle the rest."
